In 1980, Susan began working for the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) as a part-time county office clerk. Through the progression of government changes, she continued with FCIC in various positions that included field representative, loss adjuster, trainer, and reviewer. In 1988, Susan left FCIC to go into the private industry, delivering MPCI as a company service center helping agents service their clients. In 1990, she started her own crop insurance agency in Billings.

With the business growing, Bill officially joined the agency to help with crop hail and making sure all of our clients are taken care of, whether it be answering the phone or sending out necessary forms or documents.

After graduating from Montana State University in 2007, Chase began doing the data entry and working with the new mapping programs. Now living on his in-laws' ranch outside of Helena, he sees how important it is to have protection in this way of life.
Chase learned from one of the best agents to work in the crop insurance industry. He is taking those lessons he learned over 15 years working with his mom, Susan, and continuing to uphold the standard that Cunningham Crop Insurance carries.
